CirclesMM is a private messaging app operated by Circles Messaging and Media LLC. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards against that abuse, how anyone can report it, and how to reach the person responsible for child safety at CirclesMM. It is published in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applies to everyone who uses CirclesMM.
Our standards
- We prohibit any content, conduct, or communication that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or abuses a minor, including CSAM, grooming, sextortion, and the solicitation of minors. This is a permanent, non-negotiable rule of the service.
- Agreeing to these terms is a condition of using CirclesMM. Every user accepts a zero-tolerance conduct policy at sign-up before they can create an account.
- CirclesMM is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly permit accounts for minors.
How to report child sexual abuse or exploitation
You can report abuse from inside the app without leaving it:
- Report a message: press and hold any message, then choose Report. The message is sent to us for review.
- Block a user: block any member to immediately stop their contact with you.
- Contact us directly: email our child-safety point of contact at contact@circlesmm.com at any time.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first. In the United States you can also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
How we respond
- We review reports of child endangerment promptly.
- We remove violating content and permanently ban the accounts responsible.
- We preserve relevant evidence and report apparent CSAM to NCMEC, and we cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
Compliance with child-safety laws
We comply with applicable child-safety and child-protection laws in the jurisdictions where CirclesMM is available, including United States federal reporting obligations for child sexual abuse material. We review these standards regularly and update them as our service and the law evolve.
